It is with great enthusiasm that I present the very first issue of The Edge to you. Created to give all students who read it the competitive edge when it comes to preparing for college, this publication features articles written by college preparation experts who have many years of experience helping students make their college dreams a reality. The Edge also features articles from students who have walked the path that you are on right now, and who candidly share their experiences with you so that you can learn from their missteps and their successes.

This inaugural issue of The Edge is centered completely around you, the seniors. We’ve filled it with all the information you will need to make sure you get through your senior year successfully and move on to the next step in your educational journey. It will definitely take effort on your part, but you won’t have to go through it alone. Taking advantage of the resources available to you through this publication and the Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP) coordinators on your campus will certainly give you the edge.
